PPC Is Here To Stay

Affiliate marketing methods come and affiliate marketing methods go but one that seems to stay for quite some time is PPC (Pay per Click). This method saw the light of day in the late 90's and it only seems to grow in popularity so if haven't already tested it out now's the time. In this blogpost, my first, I'll give you some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your PPC campaign.

If you're working with PPC for the very first it might be a good idea to start on a small scale and direct your focus towards something that interests you. In keeping it small in the beginning you have better possibilities of keeping your eyes on the campaign and learn from it. Create a keyword list and start to think about how you want to work with this marketing method. Do you want to increase traffic on your site or do you want to send traffic directly to a merchant?

If you want to send traffic directly to a merchant it's important that you read their affiliate terms first. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact your affiliate manager and get his or hers approval (some affiliate programs don't allow direct PPC campaigns for their affiliates) before starting out. Either way you choose to go, direct campaign or getting traffic to your site, it's important that you keep the keywords very targeted and that the campaign in no way feels spammy. If you learn how to become a pro at this method you'll have every possibility in the world of making a killing. Many super affiliates make most of their earnings through PPC.
