Testing article marketing Attempt #2
Hey everybody! About a month ago I wrote a blog post stating that I were to test the affiliate marketicle marketing called article marketing or bum marketing. I now return to you with some interesting results. It is far trickier than the name "bum marketing" implies and it seems not to be enough simply to add an article with tracker links to any online article directory. A second attempt is hence in order!
After reading about article marketing I thought; "how hard can it be?". Apparently it is pretty hard to earn money on article marketing. But I'm not giving up yet. My articles, although live and indexed by Google has not generated a single click or conversion. After reviewing the project I have found one thing that needs to be changed. The destination for publication.
When I before used GoArticles.com to publish my article, it's free and you can add links. But as the weeks creeeped by and my articles still did not appear in Google when searching for "How to show her you love her" I started to get suspicios. Almost a whole month after I finally found my article in Google, but only if I put "" and spelled out the whole article title.
What I will do this time is write about Halloween masks, convenietly close to the holiday with the title "Masks to wear for Halloween 2008" and publish it on Ezinearticles.com, an online article directoy and one of Google's favorites.
The article will eb pending for approval a week or so and hopefully start generating some money. I'll keept you posted. After the halloween weekend I'll be back with results and further explanation how article marketing is done right. This is Testing Article Marketing Attempt #2!
