Testing Article Marketing!
I heard about article marketing, or bum marketing as it's so graciously called, a few years ago and seeing as I'm a web writer myself I thought I would try it out. In this post I will briefly explain my mission and in some weeks I will get back to you with results. That will be the ground for a larger article about article marketing here on AffiliateTips.com.
After researching article marketing I think it's time to do a practical experiment just to see if it works. You will get a short summary of the initial work I've done and the basics of article marketing/bum marketing in this blog post. A complete article will follow in a couple of weeks with results of this test.
Bum Marketing - As easy as it's said to be?
Article marketing is the affiliate marketing methods where you first find a search phrase on Google that does'nt display more than up to 7,000 matching websites. This is done by using "" when entering your search phrase. When you've found a fitting search phrase you write an article about it, preferably as professional as possible. Add some tracker links to affiliate programs you've signed up to and submit your article to one or several popular free article content websites. The power and by Google perceived relevance of these article websites will allow your article to rank nr. #1 on your chosen search term, hopefully within a week.
I have now done all this and have submitted an article to a popular article base website. Specifications for this test will be revealed in the full article later. This to keep the test neutral and unaffected.
Results in a couple of weeks
This article marketing test will see if indeed the article will rank nr. #1 on my chosen search phrase and if my inserted tracker links will generate any affiliate income. Stick around or RSS to this blog and you'll know when the test has been finalized.
